I love this. I have been through grief like that and experience it on a daily basis as I live my life without my son. That look is filled with dread and sorrow. Perfectly captured.
You have described a difficult topic so beautifully. Acknowledging their love for each other of course makes this all the more sadder. I would love to know what she’s actually holding. An infant dress or a child’s pillow case, maybe. So much detail.
